In just a few minutes, the cable car Goldeck brings you from the district city of Spittal to a height of more than 2,000 m above sea level to one of the most beautiful vantage points in Carinthia.

Hiking destination at Goldeck – enjoy adventurous hiking and mountain picnicing, or simply let your soul free and replenish yourself with sunlight and energy.

Savour the unimaginable and panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, valleys and lakes.

Promising – the impressive view reaches beyond the crystal clear water of the “Millstätter See” and the “Nockberge” right up to the  region “Dachstein Tauern”. On the west side you see the range of mountains higher than 3,000 m above sea level, which stretches up to the Grossglockner (highest mountain in Austria). Towards the south, you can get a view of the Karawanken mountain range and the Carnic Alps right up to our neighbouring country, Italy.
